ABC Delivers on Behalf of Vancouver Residents at September Council Meetings

Vancouver, BC — ABC Vancouver is highlighting a series of important wins at Council following meetings on September 16 and 17. Each decision reflects the caucus’ commitment to delivering a safer, more affordable, more liveable, and well-run city for residents and families.

Recent ABC Majority Caucus Results:

  • Reopening Clark Drive to protect East Vancouver’s livability and maintain vital port access
  • Accelerating turf field upgrades at Beaconsfield Park to enhance community sports amenities
  • Passing a motion to protect Shaughnessy Restaurant and support local small businesses
  • Expanding transit and active pathways across South Vancouver to make streets safer for everyone
  • Prioritizing the completion of community facilities and infrastructure in the 2027 to 2030 Capital Plan, ensuring investment in rec centres, parks, and amenities families rely on
  • Strengthening public trust and accountability with full disclosure of council compensation so residents know exactly how their tax dollars are spent
